June Photo of the Month

June is the month when many baby birds can be seen in Connecticut.   I believe you can see 1 adult and 3 juvenile Great blue herons in this picture.  Can you find all 4 birds?  This picture was taken from Flagg Road near the bridge that crosses over Hart meadow Brook, looking north.  There are several Great Blue Heron nests that can be seen in nearby trees from there.  Don't forget to get outside and explore all that Westmoor Park has to offer in each season of the year.
